Dear friend of Wilderness,

GivingTuesday was born from the simple idea that a “radical generosity” movement could create a better world. Ten years later, that idea has spurred the largest single day of global charitable giving.

We like to think that Wilderness is also a radical idea that transformed the world. The preservation of Wilderness is an act of restraint and humility toward the Earth, an act of generosity toward all the other species with whom we share the planet. We got it right when we decided to preserve some of our wildest landscapes for their own sake.

On Tuesday, November 29 summon that radical spirit, and give a gift to protect Wilderness. Wilderness can’t protect itself—it needs your help.

All first-time donations to Wilderness Watch will be doubled by a generous donor in Alaska!

Thank you,
George, Dana, Kevin, Dawn, Andrew, and Brett
